Flora London Marathon 2007

Each April brave volunteers take part in the Flora London Marathon to raise money for Canon Collins Trust. The gruelling course runs for 26 miles from Blackheath Common to the Mall - an enormous personal achievement for all who participated.

Canon Collins Trust has 5 places available to runners who wish to support us.  To join the Canon Collins Trust team, visit the Charity Runners Clearing House

We would like to thank our runners for raising thousands of pounds to make a difference to southern Africans!

Here are some messages from previous runners

Bridgid Binnell
"I am from South Africa and this project is one that is close to my heart as I know just how much these people need help and aid."

Andrew Lodge
Andrew visits South Africa several times a year as Managing Director of a South African Bank - "raising funds to assist in the development of southern Africa would seem a perfect fit to mark my 10 year anniversary with the Bank."

Alan Swetman
Alan has visited Africa several times, and on each occasion has donated supplies for local schools - "education in Africa is something that I am keen to support."

“We needed scholarship schemes like those run by Canon Collins Trust to give us the opportunity to achieve these transformations. Of course a lot has still to be done and I’m so pleased that Canon Collins Trust is still there to help southern Africa achieve its full potential.
