“I am currently studying law, a field which needs much development in South Africa. People do not understand the importance of their rights and ways in which they can protect them, due to poor education. People need to understand what the law can do for them. In Venda we have a saying, ‘munwe muthihi a u tusi mathuthu’, meaning ‘alone it is not possible but together we can”.
