Marathon

Each April brave volunteers take part in the Flora London Marathon to raise money for Canon Collins Trust. The gruelling course runs for 26 miles from Blackheath Common to the Mall - an enormous personal achievement for all who participated.  Find out more on this page.

Scholarships

Canon Collins Trust provides scholarships to students from South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Angola and Mozambique who wish to pursue a postgraduate degree (normally a one year Master's degree) in either the United Kingdom or South Africa.

Scholarships in the UK

Canon Collins Trust awards approximately 60-90 postgraduate scholarships to the UK for southern African students each year. Scholarships fall under several different schemes, with some administered in partnership with the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office and UK universities.

Scholarships in Southern Africa

The application process in South Africa runs from ? to August each year.  In South Africa a panel including the Regional Director and the Consultant work together with others on the selection process.

Scholarship schemes

Canon Collins Trust works in partnership with universities, corporate partners and the government in the UK to provide scholarships.
