Knysna Education Trust
The Knysna Education Trust was formed in 1993 to promote education and training opportunities and to raise funds for pre-school, primary school and high school bursaries It also provides training to care-givers from the previously disadvantaged community. Having identified the need for training through the medium of Xhosa and as most of the participants are women who have families, the Knysna Education Trust decided to set up a Satellite Early Learning Training Centre to train care givers. The Canon Collins Trust is helping the training of trainers that will work in this centre.
