Khanyisa School for Supportive Education
This school, located in the Plumstead area of Cape Town, provides education to children from disadvantaged communities who have learning difficulties. The government does not provide specialised education for these children. Only a very few parents can afford the full fees, while others are able to make only a very small contribution but are desperate for their children to attend the school. Canon Collins Trust is contributing to the fees of a small number of students who have shown that they can benefit greatly from the approaches used in the school.
