Postgraduate Study in South Africa

The deadline for applications has passed and the Trust is no longer accepting applications for study in South Africa in 2012.  Applications for 2013 will open in mid-2012.

Please note that to be considered for this scholarship, you need to apply with the Canon Collins Trust application form. The form and the application guidelines will be made available on this website as soon as the call for applications opens.

What we offer

Scholarships of up to R40,000 per academic year for scholars at Honours, Masters and PhD level.

Are you eligible?

To apply for a scholarship under this programme you must be:

•   be a national of and resident in one of the following countries:

Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

• in possession of a good first degree or about to graduate in the year of application

Applicants will be expected to show their commitment to the development of their country and region.
