Our Partners

Canon Collins Trust works in partnership with many people and organisations who wish to contribute to the wellbeing and prosperity of southern Africa. Their contributions enable our visionary students to achieve positive change in their communities, helping to transform people’s lives across the region. We cannot thank all of our partners here and some prefer to remain anonymous.

Our partners deliver our scholarship programmes and education projects. Wherever possible we try to promote and develop the ideas of our alumni. Click at left to find out more about some of our current (project/delivery/implementation) partners and meet the inspirational people leading our projects on the ground.

The largest part of our funding comes from committed individuals who have, for more than 30 years, made small but ongoing contributions to our cause. We also have a number of larger corporate and statutory donors who finance our programmes, enabling us to widen access to education for southern Africa and unlock the potential of thousands of young people.

“My work as a human rights expert takes me around Africa where I have seen huge obstacles to the attainment and enjoyment of human rights. I have documented the adverse impact of bad governance and political instability on economic development.”
