London Marathon 2012

In 2011 Canon Collins Trust runners in the London Marathon raised over £10 000 to support southern Africa’s future leaders through postgraduate scholarships.

Canon Collins is participating in its seventh London Marathon in April 2012! Staff, alumni and friends will be running the gruelling 26-mile race to raise money to support the next generation of southern African leaders. Our four alumni runners are led by Gillian Attwood, our Alumni Officer in Johannesburg. Their target is R100,000 and this will be enough to create the first scholarship entirely funded by scholars! To meet our runners, click on their pages at left.

“ICT has taken centre stage in developmental matters around the world, but  there are inadequate high level ICT skills available in Africa. Using technology for the betterment of humanity is my passion.”
