Graça Machel Scholarships
Postgraduate study in South Africa for women
This programme is closed. It will reopen in mid 2012.
Please note that to be considered for this scholarship, you need to apply with the Canon Collins Trust application form. The form and the application guidelines will be made available on this website as soon as the call for applications opens.
What we offer:
Full tuition, stipend, mentoring and other support for Honours, masters and PhD study at South African universities.
Are you eligible?
To apply you must be:
- a woman
- a national of and resident in one of the SADC countries: Angola, Botswana, DRC, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe
- in possession of a good first degree or about to graduate in the year of application
Applicants will be expected to show their commitment to the development of their country and region.
Canon Collins Trust manages this scholarship on behalf of the Graça Machel Foundation. It is generously supported by:
