Canon Collins Trust maintains a Tertiary Education Programme
for post-graduate students from southern Africa in both the
United Kingdom and South Africa.
Recognising that an educated and skilled workforce is
a key component in achieving the national goals of reconstruction
and development, emphasis is on the education and training
of skilled professionals who are committed to the development
of their country.
An important area of our work are the grant programmes developed
in partnership with communities in southern Africa. The projects
supported fall into two categories - those with an explicit
formal education programme run by established organisations,
and those which are community-based initiatives, using educational
processes or support to provide a range of outcomes.
